Deonna Dee Davis was born November 8, 1984 in Cincinnati, Ohio she attended Princeton High School in Cincinnati, Ohio First female from Cincinnati to be named a McDonald's All-American... Three-time letterwinner in volleyball and softball Named to the H.S. Honor Roll for three years... Chose Vanderbilt over Connecticut, Temple, Arkansas and Cincinnati. She also participated in the women's State Farm College Three Point Championships on March 29, 2007 at Georgia State University. On April 4, 2007, Dee was selected by the Houston Comets with the fourteenth pick in the 2007 WNBA Draft. She is now a physical education teacher at University School of Nashville.

Passed former Commodore Ashley McElhiney (673 career assists) for Vanderbilt's all-time lead in assists with her first helper of the game at Arkansas - on a Carla Thomas jumper that gave Vanderbilt a 10-0 lead. Ranks sixth all-time in the SEC for career assists (718). Sank two free throws with 20 seconds remaining at South Carolina to give Vanderbilt's its only lead of the game and a key SEC road win. Her drive and lay-up with less than two second remaining gave VU a tough road win at Kentucky... Two free throws and a breakaway lay-up secured VU's SEC Tournament Championship win over LSU. Scored in double-figures eight times this season, including twice in the SEC Tournament. Set a career-high with 12 assists in win at UAB. Also dished out double-digit assists against Florida Atlantic and Indiana State.
Davis was selected by the Houston Comets with the fourteenth pick of The 2007 WNBA Draft but was released in six games of the 2007 season averaging 2.0 points per game.
